Hey guys, I was messing around with line patterns in class yesterday for postcards and posters (posters on next post), but came up with a nice visual that really shows rhythm. Thought it was interesting...maybe too much line usage, or maybe the idea could be pushed more? Feedback would be cool, or we could chat in class. I heard Pino saying the front of the postcard needed to have more to it than just the logo, so I actually did the posters first then applied it to the postcard. Just an idea.

  1. I really like the background of the front. It does have rhythm and shows the motion of pulsating. The grey is a little flat, maybe another color or shade would pop more. I think the text would look more sleek and modern on the back if it was light. I also think it would make the back
more interesting if the letters of the title words were more spaced out like the logo. Like how the back is on my postcard rough below.

    example: E X H I B I T I O N O P E N I N G

  2. Ha never mind I just saw the colored ones. I like the blue one but maybe a little darker.

  4. Well done. I really like the concept since lines seems to be a common feature, I think this is successful rather than just having the logo on the front like what I did to mine and Pino said it looked too plain. We should definitely print these out and show him in class. One more thing to add is that since it is a postcard, on the back, we have to leave the bottom part blank for the barcode. I made the same mistake. Either shift it up or place text somewhere else.
