I think the fourth from the bottom is my favorite variation of this style. I'm still not sold on having text contained within the logo (maybe in later graphics perhaps). But I still think having the letterforms broken up by the circles works well.
I really like the top two. They show movement which is an essential characteristic that conveys 'pulse' . Unlike the bottom two, they're not static. The circles make a big difference.
